"In the mangroves i can see darkness and i hear birds chirping and i smell mud and i feel sticky mud.

In the mangroves i see little crabs and i hear the ocean and i smell salt water and i feel confident.

In the mangroves i see mudskippers and i hear squealchin."

My home land is PNG and TORRES STRAIT.

"My name is PUN-PUN and this is my story i love my homeland because at the TORRES STRAIT it has a beautiful beach and lovely crystal clear water's and a beautiful sunset with dolphin's jumping and we would sit and watch it as the sun set and my great great grand father took some white people to a cave with lots of beautiful colured crystal's and they said. ''Do you want to get big money.'' And my grand father said. ''No these crystals will stay here until all my grand kids grow up so they can see this so they can bring their kids."

At PNG they have houses on top of the water higher off the ground. I went too visit my family we went canoeing it was lots of fun that place is crocodile where my dad come from there it was fun to be there I loved it next chrismas coming up i am going back to stay there for good until i turn 20 then I'am going back to GOULBURN ISLAND."
